Sharp COCOROBO Autonomous Vacuum Cleaners

Sharp has decided to enter the autonomous vacuum cleaner market by releasing the COCOROBO RX-V100 and RX-V80. Both models feature the company’s ION technology and the “Cocoro Engine”. The RX-V100 is a high-end model that comes equipped with voice control, Wi-Fi connectivity and a 1.3-megapixel digital camera with a LED light. The Sharp COCOROBO works in conjunction with iOS and Android Apps, allowing you to easily control this vacuum cleaner from your smartphone. The COCOROBO RX-V100 and RX-V80 will be released in Japan in the near future for 130,000 Yen ($1,628) and 90,000 Yen ($1,127), respectively. [Akihabara]

SRS Labs’ iWow Universal Audio Enhancer

SRS Labs has recently announced the iWow Universal audio enhancer. The gadget connects to your Android tablet or Apple’s iPad via a 3.5mm audio jack. The SRS Labs’ iWow Universal will improve the audio quality coming from that device. Its rechargeable battery offers up to 6-hour of operating time. You can recharge its battery via a mini USB port.
