ASUS is gearing up to release their newest micro-ATX motherboard ‘Rampage IV Gene’ into the market. Based on Intel X79 chipset, the board supports for Intel’s latest Sandy Bridge-E (LGA 2011) processors and features four DDR3-2400 memory slots (up to 32GB), two PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (dual x16, red) slots, one PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x8 mode, red) slot and one PCIe 2.0 x4 slot. In terms of connectivity ports, it offers four SATA 6.0 Gbps, three SATA 3.0 Gbps, one eSATA, Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 3.0 and eight USB 2.0.
