Wi-Fi-only
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 units sold in the United States are now in the
process of receiving a minor software update. It comes over-the-air, so
your tablet will notify you when it's available to download and install,
and you go from there. If you're impatient you can force your tablet to
check for the update by going to Settings. This is not, unfortunately, an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, although that should come at some point too. The update rolling out now is meant to fix a few nagging issues, and it also brings with it the newest version of the Android Market (3.4.4). The update's build ‘number' is UEKMP, and it fixes email attachment problems, auto-rotation not working properly, Wi-Fi reconnects should also work as intended, you should see less force closes, and power consumption is now improved. |
